2023 Cycling Luminaries Awards – national finalists announced
10 October 2023 | Announcement
WeRide has today announced the finalists for the 2023 Cycling Luminaries Awards. Winners will be announced at a special event in Parliament House on 15th November.
Held since 2002, these annual Awards recognise the people, places and programs that have contributed to making Australia a better place to ride a bicycle.
The finalists and winners have been selected by an independent panel consisting of three senior experts from the government, health and local government sectors. This year, on the basis of exceptional nominations received, the judges have requested a Special Judges Recognition Award for Social Impact be announced.
The Awards dinner, hosted by the Parliamentary Friends of Cycling in Parliament’s Mural Hall brings together industry and corporate leaders, national bicycle organisations and government decision makers.
The awards dinner will also feature the launch of the 2023 Australian Cycling and e-Scooter Economy Report, tickets for the dinner will be available soon via the website www.weride.org.au.
