Legends Night - 14 May 2019

Our much anticipated Legends Night was held at the iconic Rapha Clubhouse in Melbourne on Tuesday 14th May as a social and industry networking evening as part of the 2019 Australian Bicycle Summit.  Featuring legends of cycling throughout the years, our guests were entertained by fun and anecdotal stories from Anna Wilson, Phil Anderson, Stephen Hodge and a surprise guest Dave McKenzie who made a special appearance on the night.

2018 Australian Bicycle Summit

Cycling – Connecting People and Places

The 2018 Australian Bicycle Summit brought a nationally significant group of stakeholders, decision makers and experts together on the 20th and 21st of June 2018 at the stunning global headquarters of Lendlease in Barangaroo. The views over Sydney Harbour, expert and fascinating presentations, inspiring speakers, Awards finalists and winners all contributed to this very unique and special event.

2018 Cycling Luminaries Awards

With nominations from across Australia in the lead up to the 2018 edition, the 14th Cycling Luminaries Awards were a great success. As part of the Australian Bicycle Summit, the winners were celebrated at a dinner at Lendlease Barangaroo  Sydney on June 20, with advocacy, industry and political leaders present to recognise their achievements.

2018 Cycling Luminaries Awards Winners:

The winners in the three categories announced in 2018 were:

  • Tina McCarthy, Wheel Women – Leadership Award
  • RideScore Sunshine Coast – Bike Culture Award
  • Maydena Bike Park, TAS – Built Environment Award

2017 Australian Bicycle Summit

The 2017 Australian Bicycle Summit was held at the Queensland Cricketers Club in Brisbane in May 2017, where it was announced that the new Australian Cycling Promotion Foundation was assuming all operations of the Cycling Promotion Fund, an initiative of the Australian bicycle industry.
