Hosting on this occasion by the National Growth Areas Alliance, fast growing Australian cities of 100,000 or more residents, the event is open to all MPs, Senators and Advisors in the House. The Member for Wentworth Dave Sharma, Member for Scullin Andrew Giles and Senator for Victoria Janet Rice are Co-Convenors.

The Parliamentary Friendship Group for Better Cities is a forum for ideas and discussion on how to make Australia’s capital and major cities more liveable, more resilient and more productive.

We Ride Australia is one of the fifteen national peak bodies who support this group and for each event our Director – National Advocacy Stephen Hodge extends an invitation to our members to join him. There are four places available on a first come first served basis to those who contact us and we try to ensure applicants to previous events who were unsuccessful get first right of refusal.

The theme for the December event is ‘Research and Practice from Australia’s Fast Growing Outer Suburbs’.
