16 May 2019 | Community, Policy & planning
We Ride Australia’s Director – National Advocacy, Stephen Hodge, presented some of the barriers to greater participation in cycling on today’s edition of ‘Life Matters’ on ABC Radio National. On air with Dr Dorani Pojani, the discussion covered research on attitudes to cycling amongst the Australian public and some of the barriers people experience that prevents them choosing to ride their bicycle more often.
The program title is ‘How do cultural barriers impact our relationship with transport?’, and you can listen as Hilary Harper asks experts Dr Pojani and Stephen about bikes and public transport. Stephen is on from around 6:30.
